CUSTOMS HOUSE RESIDENTS ALARMED

Witnesses describe what they cannot explain; sergeant mahoney of the river street station described the reports as 'high spirits'.

Residents near Customs House were talking yesterday of little else. According to a resident of long standing, dogs and horses near Customs House refuse to settle; owners report them all facing one way.

Sergeant Mahoney of the River Street station described the reports as 'high spirits'.

Talk in the neighbourhood runs to a family covering something up.

The trouble is said to have begun on Monday night.

A source close to the investigation says the police are watching a house in Lower Miskatonic.
