Friday, 1 October 1926

Lowell sought my opinion on an absurd theory. I advised rest and took my leave. It was about the figure at Arkham Historical Society. The mind under prolonged stress will fabricate patterns. That is basic neurology.

Thursday, 30 September 1926

Mission evening. Lance boiled water for seventy needles. Three cases of rickets in infants. The stethoscope does not lie, and neither does my own wrist.
